I bought my stepside thinking that 3 of us could fit in it and we needed a truck to haul stuff, well we never hauled anything in it because it could not go down the freeway anywhere near comfortable and with the floor shifter it was not a comfortable ride. the amount of work it needed and the time and money was just way to much and still not be able to fit us all. towards the end of this year I will be buying a new vehicle but will not want to abuse it off road so I started looking for something that would fit what I was looking for. I found this 1988 blazer for sale on a local Facebook sale page and he was looking to trade for a pickup so we made the deal yesterday.
the guy I got it from bought it from an old guy who just had it sitting in his field. the guy I got it from changed the clutch and stuff, got it up and running and then wrecked his pickup, so he needed a truck.
so the details.

I haven't gone over it yet with a fine tooth comb but so far I haven't found any rust in the usual places
