Those are some fine examples. The truck my carb came off was the same green. I will get a pic of the truck now. It's on the museum line at the fire school on the local military base.
This is a 91 V30 from the Military Firefighter Heritage Foundation at Goodfellow AFB in San Angelo. The mechanic that maintained the truck while it was on duty and assisted in the decommissioning to museum status advises it was ordered as a 91 model with 1985 drivetrain. 454 4bbl, TH400, NP205 etc. I guess the govt gets what they want. I was around this truck when it was in service and I don't remember it looking exactly like this. Drivetrain and interior was removed and windows were painted black from the inside. I made an attempt to keep the stripped parts for my 90 crew but the Air Force had none of it.
