1989 Chevy V1500 Suburban... number 10?

Wife's newest Suburban
Current plans are a 3/4 ton conversion and 2" lift using parts I have laying around. Run it until the brand new tires are worn out, then regear and fit 37" tires. I have a 3/4 ton 77 GMC that is going to donate some parts to this project and my 77 C10.

Found a nice set of Suburban buckets Sunday. Only issue is they are blue. Of course I didn't take a picture of the seats yet, just the extra center console.

Axles are ready to install so we ran the sub up to my friends shop so they can be installed with a 2" lift.

First thing he found was a cracked main leaf. I managed to round up another set.

Had to chase down a few more brake parts for the newer style 14FF backing plates, new shoes, hardware, turn drums. The newer backing plates are from a 1 ton 13 x 3.5 brakes while the 77 brakes were 13 x 2.5 and didn't fit. It would have been cheaper to convert to disc brakes at this point... but I didn't want to delay the project while it is sitting on my friend's lift.
