$141.00 Live on that for food and gas!

So now you all know what I get for being shot in the chest in the line of duty. So you can sleep in peace at night!

My truck gets 10 mpg in town and my van gets 13 mpg: gas is $2.15 here today.
If you are so rich how about you be a stand up chap and pay my membership fee. I mean since it is ONLY $25.00

Did someone take you up on your "offer" and buy your a membership??? I see you've got one now..... :dunno:

As for the actual topic of this thread..... nice work on the '89. I couldn't help but stare at the '72 in the background photos either.....but that's a function of my own 1st Gen disease.

Nice Work! Looks like you've got some talented friends. :thumb:

shh the wabbit will here ya...

besides I am loving his truck... (sheds a tear for the clean doors being cut) Love the LOOK:thumb:

sweet I will soon be doing that my self got a clean 89 body mines going to be a little bit more involved as the 89 doesn't have much of an interior

I know someone that has a 73-75 rust free blazer tub for sale. Although he is in AZ. Good luck with the conversion. Couldn't of done it without Randy72. I did a ton of research I advise you do the same before you start.

This is what I hope my k5 will look like after the paint. This is a pic of member xnoahx. After seeing his k5 I have wanted a full conv with the 89-91 front grille. Now I have the best of everthing a full conv overdrive and A/C.

I would love to come down to AZ and get it but I think the cost of gas would prohibit that.

I like you am lucky in that I have a freind who is a body guy. So I just hand him the tools and cut where he tells me too. :D

Same here I did the same. Now if I could get him to do the rest of my body & paint. Randy is real busy right now he just started his own windshield glass business. And he is the best glass guy in the state :D He is also a perfectionist when it comes to fabricating

Looks incredible. I want to do that to mine so bad, i just don't have the guts, time, money or anything else required to pull it off.

Me too!
I like the look without the vent windows alot.
And I agree, once you own a first gen, it's like being attracted to women with large foreheads. When you see one you can't help but stare.

I know this is an old thread but that is one of the nicest full convert k5 jobs I have ever seen I wish I could have mine done like that I hate the half cab on my 88 K5

Thanks I owe it to my friend Randy he did most of the work. When he told me to cut I did when he told me to sand or grind I did. We pretty much followed the write up on this board and Randy and I went from there. :doah:
