1989 K5 Blazer

HINZ28 submitted a new Build:

1989 K5 Blazer

New project is an 1989 K1500 Blazer. I wasnt looking for anything to nice since my main plans are build it up for some off roading/ rock climbing adventures. So heres is what i am starting with.
-1989 K5 blazer (A little more rust than i wanted but it will do)
-350 TBI Fuel injection
-Long tube headers (dumps right now and mufflers are a must do)
-Roughly a 6" Lift
-Front leafs
-Rear blocks (worthless)
-Bald 35" BFG MT's
Made a trip down to Minnapolis KS to pick it up, Not exactly what i was expecting but i didnt drive 3 hours for nothing so i brought it home

First thing i did was put some flowmaster mufflers, new collectors, and fresh header gaskets. Ran like a new truck after that.

Ive also done a lot of undercoating/ painting to protect whats left of the body, and yes make it look a pretty

Heres my parts collection so far......

14BFF rear geared with 4:56s
3/4 10 bolt geared with 4:56s

36x12.5x15 Super Swamper IROKS on some white wagon wheels

DIY4x4 Shackle flip kit

I have my conversion u joint, new u bolts, and brake lines ready to go, I just need to get off this couch and go install the axels.

Haha ye of little faith! With gas it wouldnt be in my blazer, but I would like to some summer take off for a trip and just stop out and meet people on here.
