1990 Blazer Daily Driver build..700 might be dying

Degreaser works wonders. Pressure washer will too.

I just watched some u tube vids on doing this. Pretty useful info

I Bissel'd it and then pressure washed it. Definitely made a difference. Just faded I think.

Made some more solid progress last night.

Finished the bed floor and fenderwells. There is some uncovered spots in the corners, but I am down to 50 sq/ft of FatMat left so I wanted to make sure I got the cab floor done.

Also got the glass run felts, inner, and outer seals installed on the driver door. I put three large squares of FatMat inside the door on the outer skin and a few strips on the inner door structure. New foam on the door panel as well.

Im stoked your doing this. Considering the sound proofing is in reality the only change. Along with weather stripping.

The 2 biggest things for noise. Wind and road. Very interested in your results

Me too!

It sounds very solid from my extensive scientific testing. (when you knock on it there is a nice dull thud instead of a bong noise)

I just got caught up with your build. Looks like fun.

I'm here for the results of the seals and weatherstripping. I've been waffling on ordering from them and starting to work my way through each door on the burb. Also appreciate the tip on fatmat. That'll save me some money because I need to take care of the doors. The floor has been done with dynamat and a closed cell foam. The carpet is still original and I'm tempted to replace it. It's just not bad enough to justify it.

Keep up the good work.

Any tips on replacing the window seals? I'm gonna tackle mine if I ever get some time off...

Which ones? They are all pretty simple. I've never tackled any seal stuff before, but now that I know how simple it is I won't hesitate to fix my other rigs.

I didn't make any progress last night. I was tired and hung out with the woman for the evening.

The driver and passenger front windows, the felt holding the glass that goes up and down. I bought the LMC kit
