1990 Blazer Daily Driver build..700 might be dying

The driver and passenger front windows, the felt holding the glass that goes up and down. I bought the LMC kit

Those are pretty simple. You just pull the old stuff up out of the track. Spray the new ones with some glass cleaner on both sides and slide them down in the tracks. They just press into the window frame. There is one clip on top that just snaps in.

I didn't take any new pics, but managed to squeeze in a few hours yesterday afternoon. Got the old tailgate beltline seals removed, and all the seals for the hardtop removed. Those were all a PITA because they are glued on. I rolled a couple coats of Satin black Rustoleum on the top. Looks much much better. Hopefully it lasts a little while.
Carpet is laid back in the cab, but none of the trim is back on.

Oh! and I did start it to verify blend door operation and ensure the heater core was good.

Still to do:
FatMat some of the dash under the pad. Clean up the dash pad and reinstall.
A pillar and B pillar trim
Headliner (need to buy fabric)
Seatbelts
Seats
Side panel recover
Install header and side window seals on the top.

for the faded carpet you can use the SEM interior paint. I've used it a couple times successfully.

I might try this tonight. I did a dash pad with it last night and it turned out great! Top is also a nice Satin black now.

My big pile of old rubber.

This turned out pretty good! I used the Duplicolor "Charcoal Grey". It is darker than the original grey, but not by too much. I am going to get another can and do the lower door panels, and rear carpet.

Got the top done in Rusto Satin black. Not the best choice, but it layed on smooth and came out how I hoped. Now we will see how well it lasts. Got the dash pad dyed the lighter grey (from Duplicolor also). Picked trim pieces between both Blazers and cleaned up the best ones for this rig.

Some before and after pics of the dash, the top, the trim, and got the ends of the header seal glued on.

LMC quarter window run channel flocking is garbage. There is no way possible this could work. Way too small to sit snug in the channel. Doesn't touch the glass. It'd be the same as running no seals.

Made some solid progress this weekend on the reassembly!

Got the kick panels, dash, seat bases and seats all put back in the cab. Got the top thrown back on.. It appears I threw away the tailgate corner seals in my clutter :( So those are on order.

Moved it outside, cleaned up the garage, and got the new panels cut for the side panels. re-wrapping seems like it's going to suck.

Also put some foam on the headliner and recovered that. I might redo my recessed areas for the visors. I like how it looks, but I'd rather they are the shape/size of the actual visor.

I like what you are doing!
I want to do the same to mine. Some decibel readings before and after would have been neat. Your experience will definitely be appreciated!

Thanks everyone! I actually drove it to work today. It's so solid to drive now. Rear side panels are still in work, but I have to shift my attention to the trail rig after I get back from dropping off my junker crew and picking up another Blazer plus hunting in MT for 10 days.
