Hello, I have a 1990 gmc surburban 350 TBI that I bought from someone, it has been sitting since 2013 I’m trying to get it started and I wasn’t getting any fuel pressure so I replace the fuel pump, the lines and the fuel filter (cleaned out the old gas first). I’ve managed to get fuel pressure all the way to the throttle body but the but the jets won’t fire. The engine will run of starter fluid but not under its power any advice would be appreciated

Check your ECM fuses under the dash. Also, you should be able to rent a noid light setup from autozone or the like to test the injectors and see if they are firing.

Your fuel pump relay is working, correct? Assuming so as you are getting fuel pressure.

I did check the fuses and 1 of them was bad but the jets still won’t fire, I did get them to fire with direct wires running to the battery to see if they work or not and they do fire like that but not on their own

Check your icm. Meaning replace it I guess, I don't know how you would actually test it. You can get a cheap one to check, and if that fixes it put a GM one in and stick the extra cheap one in the glove box just in case.

Bad pickup coil will also do this.

Cheap aftermarket distributor is cheaper than the parts separately. The pickup coil requires distributor removal anyway, so throwing a complete distributor in makes sense IMO.

Don't disagree about cheap junk, but GM is in the "unknown quality" category nowadays IMO. So buying a complete cheap distributor for a spare/diagnostic didn't hurt my feelings.
