Finally got my 1990 k5 blazer running and moving howver it sounds like a pile ahaha. It has headers/true dual exhaust its all rotted I was able to fix up to the mufflers I am having trouble finding tail pipes to go over the rear axle both sides any suggestions appreciated.

Most of the time I have a local exhaust shop do the exhaust for me. They bend it to fit and for the most part they do it for what I can buy the parts to do it myself. If you must do it yourself, ther e may be a kit available of some kind I don’t know. In the past I have cut prebent elbows and welded them together to make it fit.

No factory options and aftermarket limited .

Have a shop make up a nice system and be done . Go out the sides 90* NOT out the back . If the top is open or window down you get exhaust in the cab this way .

Is it still efi ? If so is there a O² sensor in the system ?

When I did my 454 swap into my '90 K5 I just had a shop do it. I had cast manifolds and bought a flowmaster. Dual 2.5" into the muffler, single 3" out the driver's side behind the tire. Shop charged me $750 which I thought was reasonable for custom work, and it fits right.

Yes i was going to go out the sides once it got over the axles I thought about going out the back thanks for that info tho didnt know that. Yes it is a EFI Not sure about 02 sensors i gotta look dont remember seeing them. I am trying to avoid taking it to a shop as I am fixing this truck on the cheap plus not many exhaust shops around my area. I found one possible system on rockauto for 200 I may be able to make work just figured maybe someone on here had a kit they used.

I used a hooker brand dual kit years ago, it fit up awful but worked. Find a methy local shop and hit them up at the end of the month when they are desperate for work to make the bills :dunno:

Heartthrob makes a manifold back dual exhaust kit 2.25”. You can search on youtube to find videos of it. One of the kits is #4805

I would recommend letting a shop do the exhaust for you, I'm going to redo my exhaust for my 86K5 as well. I have seen some prebent full exhaust systems on LMC.com, although I think it might be out of your price range. Summit has prebent pieces if you want to check those out.
