1990 K5 - The Dent Side K5

90 K5 Blazer on tons and 37’s
What mounts did you use for the shock hoops? Gonna put ac back in? Inner fenders?
Click —> Link to hoop mounting tabs.

AC is going back in. I bought a vintage air kit to try out. So a lot less mass in the engine bay compared to stock. I think @Fastereddie was able too keep all the factory stuff though!

Yes inner fenders are going back in, well at least whatever is left to clear the coilovers and hoops.

I want it as low as possible but I’m kind of limited with the rear 63’s and the shackle flip. I should be the same height as before so I’m guessing you’re going to be spot on with 6”. When the rear gets linked i plan on lowering everything down. I don’t want it more than 3” from factory.

Deavers are THICC. These are 63” and 1.5” lift over stock for a Silverado. I’m currently running stock 63’s from a junk yard with a zero rate to relocate the axle. I’m hoping the Deavers + the 1/4” offset plate will be about the same ride height with a little more travel.

Got a pic of where you put the frame side link brackets? Just curious how far back they are from the body mount.

I’ll get one and post it up. I do know that we used the upper links at full length from ORD and did new lower links which the tubes were 32” long

Thank you, it's kinda hilarious, I have old slider tubes cut off in the exact same place behind the body mounts. I appreciate the pic!
