1991 crew cab is here, now I am torn... NOW W/ PICS

If you decide to part it, I would be interested in the 4l80e/205 or just the 205 or just the vss output parts :haha:

Well I decided to go and start cleaning the tar off the fenders and after an hour of moderate progress, I decided to take a look underneath, and the horror was so bad, I decided not to continue with anything.
The truck is holding together for now but there is no part of the body that is worth saving.
I will work on my other Crew cab until it's running and then I will decide if I find a better donor or I just part it out.
I might feel like posting some pics if I get the energy to take them.:eek1:
The tailgate hinge falling when I opened the tailgate was my first clue.
:doah:I then decided to look at the spare which was non existing but I also saw not much left of the cross beams forming the bed, so I looked at the cab side and cab suports are the same, traces of them still there and I guess the collective traces are keeping it together.
It'll be fine for highway driving till the summer when I hope I will be done with the other crew cab, at least running condition then I will tackle this one.
:dunno:
I am still not regretting the purchase, checking my RPO codes I have 4.56 geared single rear 14bFF and D60 with open carriers.
I have overload springs, and a nice chrome dual headlight front setup.
And not to forget the 4l80e/205 VSS and the 150k 350 TBI.
I don't think that was too bad for the purchase price.
And I have a buyer for the contractor cap, a friend of mine that is a contractor.:dunno:

Oh also it's a fed truck for emissions and has the 100amp alternator
And it's a 9200lbs GVW
