1/2 ton status
I'm going to have to move to remain employed. That forces me to sell some things I wouldn't otherwise. That being said, here goes my baby!
It's a '91 K5 that was bought new here locally by an elderly gentleman and was maintained by the Chevy dealer as long as he owned it. He sold it to another older gent about 2 years ago. He kept it for a few months and sold it to me.
It is completely rust free. The only damage the truck has ever had was from a tornado. It dropped a fairly large branch on the hood, but no other body panels were damaged (other than scratches). The hood was replaced and the whole truck was repainted.
It has 115K or so original miles and runs like new. Everything about the truck is extremely nice and work as it should.
It has the TBI 350 and 700r4 transmission. It is all stock and runs and shifts perfectly.
I put an all spring 4 inch lift with 3/4 ton axles under it. I did the rear disc conversion at the same time. The front is a 10 bolt with new warn locking hubs. The rear is a 14FF with a gov-lock posi unit. They both have 4.10:1 gears.
It has new MT black DC-1's with new 315 MTZ's, not the claws in the picture. The 4.10 gears and 35 inch tires put the speedometer almost spot on.
The truck is a dream to drive and runs 85 down the Interstate like a Cadillac!
The only other thing I changed was the stereo system. It has a new high end Clarion head unit with Blue tooth, and new speakers.
I've seen trucks not as nice as this one bring CRAZY money on ebay. I would rather sell it to someone here that will enjoy it.
I have a Lock-right for the front axle that can go with it.
SOLD.
Once again, it has a NEW set of 315 MTZ's, not the claws in the picture.
