1/2 ton status
I'm looking at getting a parts Suburban... wasn't too enthusiastic about it at first for $500 non-running, but then I started to think that it's a '91... so it shouldn't have a 700R4 anymore... would it be a 4L60E tranny and NP241 T-case?
Regular TBI 350 motor in it, 1-piece serpentine belt pulley setup, 10-bolts front and rear, Grand Prix conversion wth some of the add-ons, visor, running boards/flares, newer style steering wheel, brush guard. Also it has a rust free nose clip and the '91 core support/grille I thought about using on my '81 Crew Cab.
So would I be correct in assuming it should be a 4L60E and NP241? Or would a 1/2 ton '91 Suburban still be a 700R4? If it's the 4L60E and NP241 I'm thinking it oughtta be worth me trying to buy the whole thing for the $500.
