1991 v3500 - big dumb lifted forever truck

I like the look and the shape. Gonna give these low backs a run to see if they really are worth my investment. Plan b is 88 burb high back reclining buckets with double armrest but with the old style fabric.
Have only seen speculation from usa1 about new burb seat covers with arm rest. Anyone got any leads?

I think my buddy in WI has those buckets and console in his sweet '83 K10.
Got any pics? Haven't really seen alot of them in pickups.

Only thing I really like is how the low backs are the same height as the bench. Keeps the cab pretty open. but I drove them around a little today and DAMN they sit low. Makes me feel 4 feet tall.
Bench seat bottom is much higher lol.

Well it seams like you know what to do then.
You need to get new foam in the bottom.

I'll see if he can send me some. We always thought they were out of a blazer but then I got my blazer and it has high backs.

I go back and forth on removing the front bench in my v3500. On one side it's kinda nice that I can seat 6 in the thing if need be (even if it's just a kit in the front middle), but at the same time I really like the look of two captains and a center console. The only thing I would consider is if I found a late 80's burb with the captains with dual armrests (like what you mentioned) that were blue and in good shape, or I contemplated finding seats out of an early 2000's crew cab that has the jumpseat/center console and fab'ing mounts to get them in (I like how those years had seatbelts incorporated, plus I would have the desired front middle seat and a console in one). Problem is, in my searching people want crazy money for a set of those seats. So much so that it's not really worth the money right now

I finally got an 89 crew cab with the front bench/jump seat option.
It will be a long time before I get to building it but I have it :waytogo:
