130K mi, Lost oil pump, New oil pump, have good oil pressure.
Now 500 mi later, there is a knock until the eng warms up, Rod or Main brg ?? Still have 60 psi oil pressure.
70 lb compression cyl 3 & 5, 115 all the rest.
To get this TBI onto an late 70's 350, I understand that I will have to oblong the center intake holes, or get a aftermarket intake.
Is there a adpter plate for the TBI to old quad junk 4 barrel intake ??

That compression test shows a blown head gasket between 3-5 cylinders.

From your description of the knock it is piston slap (too much clearance between the piston and cylinder wall). When the engine heats up to operating temps and the knock goes away it is because the heat has made the clearance tighter because of the thermal expansion of the piston.

Would that be a problem that might take a while to become worse? Or would that mean it's definitely rebuild time?

The blown gasket needs to be addressed right away but the knock is nothing to worry about. The knock is just bothersome at best for many many miles.
