I made a run down to Arizona last weekend to pick up some new tires. I managed to score 4 brand new and 6 good used tires for a good price.
That challenger
I'm guessing 500 lb+ with wheels 250 lb+ without wheels. Ihad 6 with wheels and 2 without in the bed. I also had 5 tow bars in the bed weighing at least 200-250 lb each.
I went across a scale to check weights on the way home. I was a little heavy on the truck. But I was still averaging over 13 MPG. I had half as much load going south and only averaged barley over 10 MPG.
Heading south
Front axle 4550 lb
Rear axle 5650 lb
Trailer 5400 lb
Total 15,600 lb
Heading north
Front axle 4850 lb
Rear axles 8600 lb
Trailer 7700 lb
Total 21,150 lb
