View attachment 230453
This is my condensed build thread. I just copy/pasted/edited from my local forum.

DIY SAS kit.
DIY shackle flip.
WFO pitman.
Dana 60/14bolt with 4.56's
I will run the 36" irocs for now.
PSD 241 with VSS and 32 spline input.

Rig is a 1995 2500 burb. TBI 350/4l80e.

No oxy+torsion bars= the suck.

7 bolts hold on EACH front spring hangar.

Got one spring. Working on the other side. I have to cut more of the Y pipe for the new hangar to clear. Frame is as cleaned up as I care for it to be. Hopefully tomorrow I can get some brake lines and turn it around, then tart on the shackle flip. It's VERY obvious these frames are MUCH stronger then square body frames.

After the axles are in I have to pull the case and swap the 32 spline input into my psd 241. Gotta fix the floor. It's rusted, but not out by the rockers. It's weird. I'm going to pull the interior out and do it once. Replace what needs replaced the probably Rustoliem it. I understand the bed liner option, but I want sound deadening and some insulation wherever it helps.

The 1/2 ton burbs have a different front spring hangar so it sits lower. The *** end of thing was high from the start so hopefully I get enough lift out front.

I keep dreaming about SAS'ing a white 99 LT suburban.

Love that body style. Looking forward to more progress.

In the mean time, locate a cheap grill from a non-base model. Will look a ton better!

Good work!

The shackle flip given me a hard time. None of the holes on the frame lined up. Kert, these shackle flips do not fit 3/4 ton burbs. I'll dril new holes tomorrow. The Burban is lookin good and coming along nicely.

I knew the tahoe was different and now apparently the burb as well.

The shackle flip for my Tahoe didn't fit either. I had to re-drill 2 out of 4 holes

I redrilled 5 holes. I placed the back bottom hole in the existing front bottom hole for a more desirable shackle angle.

Tonight, I got the shackle flip done and the 14 bolt on. Welding the perches in as I type this. It's on all 4s. Tomorrow, the inputs get changed out so I can run my psd 241. Then that goes in. Read driveline bolted in. Hopefully I can get exhaust next week but I gotta go out for work

Nice, looks good

Thanks man!

Kert, fix your sig. The SAS kit isn't coming soon, it's out and installed.

Aside from the exhaust and my rear heater lines, the kit was literally drill some holes and bolt it in. With 36" tires over the 33"s that were on it, it's 13" taller with stock 52"s and a zero rate up front. The SAS kit, 52" springs, the shackle flip out back with 7" shackles and it's damn level. Worked out great!!
