    The problem is the newer generation of Tahoe's is getting down into the 4-5k range, so getting proper money for a previous generation is harder to justify. You gotta hold out for an enthusiast and not just someone looking for a new mommy wagon. I think it's worth it but you'll have to wait it out.

    Thanks for the advice. There seems to be a glut of newer tahoes on the market.

    Stock gears or did you regear? 1996 is the first year of the Vortec 350, right?

    I have no idea what gears are in it. It is a Vortec 350.
