Yep, going to trace and cut it out towards the end. Don’t need to roll my kankle before I’m finished lol.
Today’s update:
Brought a couple bass tubes with me to see how they would fit in a side pocket. Well it looks like I’ll be able to have some secret good tunes.
Then tons and tons of grinding up front in the bow. Trying to knock down the grooves where the old wood was due to me running 5/8ths now instead of 1/2in Wood.
Started the eleventy million cut process of fitting the new side panels for the front. That one panel alone took almost 2 hours. But after the final test fit, the tedious work panned out.

Floor finished up this morning. Still need to do so he the seat mounts, but that’s easy.

Being furloughed has helped make good progress.
Upholstery is 2 weeks away. Already have a Bimini too and bow cover.

Added some small gussets under the bow cushions as there’s not much wood there for support.

Make sure you have good ventilation on the fg if you're using a vinylester resin. That stuff can f' you up. You can normally get those 3m masks w/ the canister filters that will grab the fumes. Not sure how available they are right now.
Epoxy resin is more expensive but doesn't have the fumes.
