picked up this TJ over the weekend. I know a few of us on here also have Jeeps @nvrenuf @Chickntrk @CharlesC83 that I know of.

has some issues, rear axle shaft is broke, supposed to have a Super 35 kit in it, no front driveshaft, steering box leaks, transmission slips. but it is long armed, has 39" radial Iroks on it that I feel are too much but can use on something else (probably going down to 35s). it did come with a title. I keep whining about having too many vehicles and projects but for the price I paid for this I would have been stupid not to.

Can't drop a bunch of pics and not say what's up. New to you? Old wheeler you dug out of your yard?

39s on a 35 :eek1: I can’t imagine how it broke a shaft…
Looks like a good start to a great little wheeler, agree on 35s…a super 35 kit will hold up decent with those..I have an 05 and the gf has a 2000.

Wholeheartedly approve. But dump the angry grill. For the love of Buddha throw that part away.

I picked it up in Shreveport and drove back to my sister's in Weatherford and spent the night; next morning in the daylight I was looking at how to get it off. thankfully it looks like it just an overlay on the grill. not like on the JK where it replaces the grill

I needed another Jeep like a hole in the head

first pic is a 1998 TJ 4.88s, 4:1, air lockers, alloy shafts, cage and 35s; 2007 JKU Rubicon 5.38s, alloy shafts, cage and 40s; 2004 LJ 4.56s, 4:1, air lockers, alloy shafts, cage and 37s

second pic is 2000 TJ on tons, 5.38s, 4:1 air lockers and 40s

third pic is a 1994 YJ on 33s

but probably going to sell the LJ, ton TJ and YJJeeps.jpg1 ton TJ.jpgyj2.jpg

That LJ is awesome.

That TJ on tons is sweeeet!

thank you. a poser pic of the LJ in front of an offroad shop and a sad pic of the ton TJ. guy told me he wanted to buy it but didn't want Nitto 40s on it as he would have a hard time getting in. I had some Nitto 37s I put on and then he didn't want it.

I keep telling myself to get some flat flares like those on your LJ for ours but I don't want to spend the money and then have the wife say she doesn't like them. :doah:

in this thread I was asking $16500; however I am going to drop it to $12500. some stuff has happened since the ad went up. when I was robbed they stole the title. since I was still working on it the title was not in my name yet. I told the sheriff's dept. what happened but no one has a clue about getting another title. either bonded or going through Vermont. one of the Ox lockers was already running off air and I bought the kit to convert the other one and will include it. however they stole the regulator and paint ball bottle to run the air to the lockers. it had a brand new Adams driveshaft in the box in the bed for the front they also took. as stated above it has 37s instead of 40s and those 40s are sold. I was going to swap out the Rubicon transfer case but will leave it if you are interested.
