Can someone tell me if this fuel tank under this bed is factory? (it's on the drivers side)
And can anyone tell what model year it is?
Did some searching and found some with wood floors.
Not sure when they got away from the wood.

Thanks for your help.

Don't' know on the tank, I have never seen one mounted that far forward.

Dad's 67 longbed had the wood floors and it was also the custom model GMC:dunno:

LMC doesn't show that type of fuel tank. They also show the woodbed kits for fleetside pickups from 67-72 in shortbed, longbed, and longhorn models, also stepsides in that 67-72 yrs

the disc brake decal is listed as 71 and 72 chevy and GMC

LMC ....:doah:

Good eye on the sticker, went out and looked and it looks like it's been there from day one.

Bet your right, 71 or 72.

Thanks for your help.

Should be a 71/72 bed with the Disc label, as mentioned. Wood floors vs. metal was an option, could be either in those years except on Longhorns with 8'6" beds (always wood). That tank was a dealer add-on, they were available on both sides. Split side markers indicate that the donor truck was a CST.
