Just picked up my New To Me Jimmy last week and last night it dumped 11" of fresh snow on Mt Bachelor which is 20 minutes from Bend Oregon where I live .
I put new Les Schwab tires on last week as well and I gotta say .... drove like a champ . :waytogo:
Not surprising as this is my 3rd K5 .
I do miss the auto locking hubs of my 95 Z71 I just sold but we will see. I may swap out the Warn Manual Hubs for Auto's since Im not a offroader .

Your old '95 wouldn't have had any hubs at all...they had a CAD front end. Auto hubs on a K5 are the surest way to not have your hubs engage at all.

Factory auto hubs are no good. Get a set of Warn hubs, they are good for a 10 bolt.

I was out a couple days ago and the snow is still 5' deep at 4000' elevation.

This truck is on 44" tires

We had an inch and a half in my yard yesterday, diggin post holes in the snow................actually not too bad since the tractor did all the diggin.

Most of our resivours are about 20% right now and they have the gates wide open, snowpack is at about 130% in some areas and its been a cold spring so far.

If it warms up quick we are going to flood for sure
