ok, dont laugh, we dont have many hills here. just felt good to test all the work i did to her. my buddy matt showed me a cool place that he said the police never go to. he heas an 01 wrangler tj no lif t with 33's. thats his baby
not much flexing i could do out there, but i had a lot of fun and finally got my trail stripes!!
Just because the "police never go there" doesn't mean it's legal. Somebody owns that land unless it's a town road that is classified as Unmaintained. While it may be a fun thing to do, trespassing on private property gives all wheelers a bad name, not just those doing it. This create a negative image and is why trails and land get closed to us at an alarming rate.
Not trying to be an ass, but these are issues very important to me. Many people work VERY hard to try to change the publics harsh perception of off roading enthusiests. Blantly showing some of those pics in a publicly viewd area is giving ammo to those against us. All I ask is that you think about what you're doing and use some common sense.
On the plus side your rig does look very good, and I hope it brings you years of enjoyment and fun.
the whole are is a power line easment which is owned byt he power comapny. my dad worked there for 30 years, as well as my uncle, and my cousin. if it were a private piece of land i would not have shown the pics
just like gun control, the antis are antis no matter what you do, we are the public, public land is our land , they dont own the planet. They charge $ to drive on the roads and then say you must drive on the roads , erosion is supposed to be bad but I dont think the Grand Canyon is a disaster. I really dont think that moving mud destroys the earth. Here in the NW they tried to ban open range cattle because the COWS were distroying the top soil. They dont want our trucks on road either. Please obay the law but I dont buy into the idea that its wrong to off road in a non-orv area or that our actions cause the antis , it doesnt give us a bad name because most people that are not 4wheelers dont even know that there are orv parks. here the antis try to shut down the orv parks by looking day and night for some kind of "endangered" worm! just like the gun issue you will NEVER turn antis around, they will NEVER stop, and they should be ignored. OK thats my rant. sorry I cant see your truck because I didnt pay

So are you one of those people who just makes a trail wherever the hell you feel like it? Do you go wheeling in farmer's fields? I mean hey, according to you are not causing any damage.
Around here, most all of the land is privately owned, by somebody, it's not public land, so it is wrong to go off road in a non-orv area.
