ya ya i should know but i dont so here goes .

if you have a crew cab frame only . . . is it the same as a reg frame in the cab area minus the extra in the middle ?

or is there to much rework to be done if you cut out the middle section and made it shorter to a std cab frame length ?

thanks guys . :1zhelp:

Pretty sure the extra length is behind the trans crossmember and the rear wheel hump. Should be able to remove the extra there and put it back together, yes.

does this help?

Just talking outta my ass, but when I had the '96 Centurion you could see where they added frame to make it a crew cab. I know totally different truck, but still gives you an idea....

Ok now that I reread the question...
Yes

The only difference is under the cab the frame is longer so if you are planning on using a clean crew cab frame to make a regular cab frame you can easily do that.

I have one from a scrapped project . and this could be used for the 4wd body swap of the beater I just got with a real clean body .
