1/2 ton status
if i put a 2-3inch suspension lift on my 89 blazer and 31's i should be able to beat this truck offroad and not have to worry bout much right???

i am running a 2" body lift and 2" suspension lift .
i have 32's on it now , and i had to trim the front fenderwell in the back just a little , and i play all the time with no rubbing .
whe i had 31's on there , i was fine without trimming

how about anything breaking???
i only broke a couple sets of spiders in the rear. but that was before i put the locker in.
i have the torsion bars cranked all the way up , which does put the front axles
at a good angle , but i have only had to replace them twice in about 16 months.
but i have a lifetime warrenty on them , so it only has costed me about two hours of my time to change them.
it all depends on how heavy your foot is.

i had a fullsize lifted and i parted it out and im in the s-10 now and its a lil more complicating so im working my way into the ifs stuff now too so thanks for the help....
no problem i will do my best to answer your questions.
they are great trucks. i have had mine for 5 years. my
only issue has been the 700r4 tranny. i am not have great luck
with them. but its my fault , cause everyone else seems ok with theirs.
mine had a 2.8 in it and i swapped a 3.4 crate in it. i also built my own bumpers.
she has been one tuff truck, and has yanked out a couple toyotas and a ford
fullsize stepside also.

yeah i bought this truck dirt cheap and it needed a tranny and i had my tranny from when i parted my fullsize and as we speak i am swapping trannys...i took the old one out now i gotta roll the truck back into the garage and put the new on in...but thanks again
