2.5" lift or 3.73 gears??

2.5\" lift or 3.73 gears??

Right now it's at stock height with 32's and 3.08's I think. Should I get 3.73 gears, then lift and bigger tires. Or lift, 33's and gears? My acceleration isn't too bad right now with 32's, so 33's wouldn't be that much of a difference would they?

I would be happier getting the gears first, lift second and tires 3rd... This would be the ideal order to avoid stressing out other parts (auto tranny, rubbing tires etc).

yea..i think im going to have some 3/4 ton gear waiting when i put my lift in..would like to do it all at once..

Be a good idea. Wish I would have thought about this when I put the 6" lift in my Blazer.

Won't be that bad if you're putting on new springs. I'd go bigger the just a 2.5" lift. I went 6" lift and wish I'd gone higher.

ill probobly go 4..i would go higher but then i would need all new drive shafts and all kinds of stuff..who knows might need that even with the 4..ill probobly go for the 4" all spring rough country lift..if i cant afford it ill get the blocks then upgrade later on..its going to be a bisotch getting those springs out though..same with the shocks..u-bolts will have to be cut of..and i dont know how im going to get the spring bolts loose..ohh boy..

Rough country are just like thier name ROUGH. That's what I've been told. I have Superlift Softride springs and they are still a bit on the rough riding side.

man you should ride in my dads 79 3/4 ton if you want rough holy sh!t..of course his springs are totally shot and the shocks are cheap to so..lol man i want that truck bad..if i ever get it ..lift is the first thing thats going in it!

lol..well my dad has like ryder gas shocks or somthing when he put them on it didnt seem to make a bit of difference..
