Im debating on giving my k-5 an additional 2 inches by doing a body lift. besides putting in the 2 inch spacers, what else is going to be done? Lengthened tubes? Steering? I want to do this all at one shot, can it be done in a day?

1 day by yourself, maybe with air tools, you will have to lengthen shift linkage, and readjust your Ebrake cable other than that should be ok /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

no adjusting. Just make sure the shift levers are clear of the floor pan. Might have to trim a little but most likely not

If your tailgate has lift-assist springs they may interfere with the lift. You might need to disconnect them for a 2" lift anyway.

Yep and it will look goofy too...also you will find out how heavy that tailgate is. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

After while that 2" gap between the body and bumpers will drive you nuts. Took me about 8 hours to lift both my bumpers the right way.
