I'm getting ready to pick up a 2 post lift. And I'm just kind of wondering what's good or bad about different ones.
Only criteria I have really is it's able to lift a k30 CC.
Not that I probably will even, but that's my biggest vehicle, so MAW.

At this moment, I've looked at prices of some, but haven't looked at names or compared, etc.

I got an Atlas 9000, wish I had gone at least 10000. My square really stresses it, the 01 not so much. But is hard to get out of truck even when offset to passenger side.

I just looked at this one, but I'm kind of wondering if there any with at least 9'6" drive through clearance?
I'd like the ability to still get my trailer in either bay if possible.

I have a 9000 lb challenger lift and I am happy with it, I will need to get a bigger one to lift my crewcab Duramax dually, but everything squarebody K30 and smaller is good.

My car trailer also fits between the uprights if I raise the arms.

Rotary Twin Post lift, cut into the floor.... Screw the posts obstructing the shop ,& vehicle access.

Above ground are a liability to access the sides doing body work.

Yeah, rotary is out lol. Frickin sweet but cost about 3x what I'm working with.

So far I'm leaning towards the Advantage 10k or 12k.
The 12k will clear the trailer, but I'm finally kind of not caring about that as much. As long as it will fit in one bay, that's all I need.

I've got a Rotary, Neighbor has a Rotunda (Ford Dealer part) , made.by. Rotary.

Rotary sold as surplus when dealership moved across town.

Don't be.afraid to look at a used Rotary or Weaver lift.

Craigslist or eBay?

Guess I didn't look at rotary 2 post. Just priced the in ground one. I need to re look at atlas too

I bought a used Rotary, don't have it up yet. Figured I would rather have that than new foreign junk. I was about to take it down still working, which helped.

Keep looking for used if you got time...

I have time. But have actually never seen a used one for sale.:dunno:

Can't imagine a lot of people swap out good ones. I'm sure it happens, but how often?

I've been looking at CL. That's all I got.

They appear when a Service.Station.is sold, goes out.of business . . .

I'm kind of an anti farce book kinda guy. Lol.
Didn't see any in there anyway.

All CL has is a bunch of Chinese new ones.

I'm gonna stick to new.

Kind of bouncing between the atlas 10k and the advantage 10k at the moment.

Advantage is on sale right now, and I've seen a few vids where people like em. Seen a lot about the atlas in searches too.
