2 wheel peel / rebirth of a short bed c-10

Yeah, Colby pointed out the difference to me. I really prefer the '89-'91 style. I think the whit roof would look better down the back of the cab.

Very nice work on it.
This truck should look awesome when you get it done.:waytogo:

At least you remembered to paint the bolts that hold the tailgate arms on. I forgot to do that when I painted mine and I'm still driving around with primer gray bolt heads on a black truck. But my paint looks no where near as good as the job you're doing. :thumb:

I just cant figure out whats wrong with this thing . . . . .

darn body lines are off just a little bit . :dunno:

got good straight frame / new body bushings / NO body lift in it / test fitted before tear down for paint / don't see the problem do you ?

on a good note . got the bolts and t-gate parts all painted today I posted pics of the other day I blasted .

I think you need to shim the cab supports up a tad. Probably something in the 18" range should get you close.

few pics of the bolts painted / t-gate hardware and bumpers on the box / and rubbers on the cab to seal the fender gap . no pic but got the wiper trans guts in place.

I cleaned up the seal on the cab and then painted them with SEM black dye. Made them look almost new.

if I cleaned them they would look like new . just little body shop dust .

the rubber tailgate bumpers I blasted in the cabinet with black beauty media at 6-8" away for less damage . those look like new now.

Brett, how ya going to keep those painted bolts from chipping when installing?
Something I haven't had success trying to do.

stuff still needs jambed out on doors and hinges yet so thay will get covered again . and what don't will get a bit of mixed paint on a brush and touched up .

well figured out the body line problem .

guess I just needed to install the parts on the frame of the truck to get it right :dunno::confused::doah::what:
