2 wheel peel / rebirth of a short bed c-10

Brett, thats a nice cab to start with, good progress man, I like the cart for the cab too.

whipped up a firewall block off plate today .

made it to bolt on since I don't have a clean a/c unit to install. and for now if I need heat I will install the summit unit for under 200 bucks .

but here is the basics of my plate.

few bead rolls to stiffin up the plate and give it some good looks .

also welded on the little bolts to the plate.

it will be getting a gasket around the unit before install.

Looks awesome. I'd love to have the space and coin to be able to pull off a project like this.

thanks :waytogo:

it is realy great to see one basic color on the old girl now.

we wet sanded the box and cab today . its real close and 1-2 little spots needed just a hair bit of filler . another good coat of high build primer and block / wet sand out we should be good to go .

again its so nice to see this major step getting done and 1 major step closer to final assembly .

great progress Brett...have you considered the Vintage Air A/C unit at all?
