2 year old starter cracked

So I took my starter off and guess what I found a crack right down the solenoid it must be a good two inches. It is a napa starter and guess what napa will not take it back for a new one.

solenoid is cheap, get a new one, or one off another starter

did you talk to manager directly ? show them solenoid ?

what did you expect? Napa doesnt offer lifetime warrantees that i know of.

Yea I think I am going to buy a whole new starter. With the price of the core charge I will only be paying like $10.00.

I did talk to the manager directly. I showd him the soldenoid.

Napa offers 3 year and lifetime warrantes. But the SOandSOs that installed the starter did not give me the invoice so I am SOL. So for now on I am doing all of the work on my baby.
