2000 GMT400 CREW CAB SFA SWAP-The Warden: Fuel leak fixed and awaiting surgery…

The ultimate goal for this truck is tow duty/family camping trips/small offroad adventures.
It will all depend on how the motor turns out. If it runs good after the new lifters then I might make it my hauler. If the motor is shot then I'll keep some parts and part the rest of it out.

Tardy to the party but yes you need factory style clearance lights. Non factory style/spaced clearance lights anger me for some reason

Got back this evening from our overnight trip to the boss' house. A couple mud holes and some trails to entertain us yesterday. The mud hole was a good reminder that I hate mud.

Woke up this morning to my oldest looking good rather uncomfortable.

Overall it was fun. I wish I would have just brought the quads and saved myself the hassle of washing the K5 for over an hour. Also developed a really bad knock in the front end of the Jimmy, but I will update that thread as soon as the mud quits falling off.

My damn truck got taken mudding over a year ago and never cleaned. I have 3 hours into pressure washing and haven't even started on the interior yet

Not jealous of the mud, but I am jealous of one thing you probably didn't even need to think about.

Mosquitoes. I can't leave my youngin shirtless like that during these couple of months. Red bumps multiply all night long. :doah: :doah:

Glad to see you out and enjoying the camper. We're counting days until our first trip out...

When I was younger, I didn't care so much. But now days, I hate the idea of mud. I don't mind getting it on my wheels and axles, but when you go through a large hole, it gets EVERWHERE!!!

The mosquitoes were out, but for some reason weren't too hungry. Our bad mosquito season is in august, but I'm sure it doesn't get even close to how bad yours get.

And yes, the camping was fun. The family wants to do it again soon. I'm thinking maybe Friday...
