Fail. So much fail. 15-month-olds are perfectly capable of handling 40 degrees. We are still going outside on a regular basis, at 10 degrees and dropping. Baby loves being outside. This winter is probably going to get long and boring for her. :dunno:
 
i used to take mine out all the time at 15 months old in that temperature... warm clothes and giver her something to do... lol.. i used to hang a swing inside my garage in the summer, point the fan towards her and push her here and there while i worked on stuff... If i had to do something loud i put my shooting ear muffs on her for a few minutes until i was finished... my daughter spent more time with me in the garage than in the house the first 2-3 years of her life...
 
Did any of you listen to the part where it's raining? Lol

My oldest and I were riding his 4wheeler on Friday when it was 25*. We ain't not sissys around here.

I heard that. But I didn't care. Kids don't melt in the rain. At least, the ones that I have met don't.

Rain is just another part of life. Even in Kansas.
 
In Greg's defense, I'd rather spend time outside in 15 degree temps and dry weather than in 40 degree miserable rain. Humid cold soaks right through everything you're wearing much more efficiently than dry cold.

That's what Kansas is. It's just dry cold. Every part on your body gets dry and cracks. There is no amount of chap stick in the world to keep your lips from getting chapped. Your knuckles crack and bleed (if you work with your hands a lot). And the wind. All the time. Always blowing.....

I need a shop.

So the starter locked up on this a couple weeks ago. I was not able to replace it in a timely manner due to my back injury.

Got a reman lifetime warranty replacement unit from The O. Got it swapped out last night without much drama. I never knew how much a weak starter could effect how the truck ran. With the new starter on, the truck cranks over for 2-5 seconds then fires right up. Sure is nice to have it back.
 
I've dealt with a failing starter before. Took me forever on my old powerstroke to figure out it was indeed the starter causing my hard starts. Glad to hear it's back on the road!

It still stumbles a bit on the really cold morning starts, but it is no where near as bad as it was.
 
I really want to paint it, but that's easier said than done.

Since the hard start issues is mostly solved now, the next thing I want to address is the rough ride. Going to look into clearance the engine cross member more to allow for more up travel. Then pull a spring in the front to see if it softens up at all.
