The ultimate goal for this truck is tow duty/family camping trips/small offroad adventures.

Is that vertical downpipe the same piece that bends horizontally rearward? I need a short 45* angle up from the horizontal section (intersecting just below the rear end of the manifold), and a hard 90*elbow will not get the job done.
I may wind up buying a 5.9 or 6.6 exhaust kit to get the bend I'm looking for.
Yes. That down pipe goes from the turbo to about where the first cab mount is under the truck. So about 3’ or so.Woohoo!

So no way to cut it off cleanly at a 45* angle?
I think I'll spend some more time with the Walker Exhaust catalog.
This down pipe is so massaged to fit in this space, that there isn’t a straight section in it. Like it was pressure formed to fit as tight as possible.
Scored these at work yesterday. These should be more of what I need for this truck. The MT's look cool, but they are way to noisy and ride like crap. Plus these should perform way better in the snow. 285/75/R16 10 ply almost new.
I have those second gen bfg's on my Silverado and I'm pretty happy with them. I'm about 1/3 of the way through the tread with 30k miles so far, and they've got traction for days in snow and dirt. I think you'll be happy with them.
I just wish the size I got had the white letters, I'm not a fan of solid black sidewalls.
I love those tires on certain applications. They are great on my wife's Yukon XL Denali in the 20" size. Not good for mud or clay though. They will do good on your 2wd pavement pounder though HAHA!

I do kind of worry about the mud/clay performance, as this will see some mud once it's 4wd but I guess i'll cross that bridge when I get there.
And let me know when you swing by Kansas again so I can punch you in the wiener.

I've had BFG All terrians several times. Great tires. AWFUL in mud of any kind. But that's the only terrian they didn't do well on
Yes but a punch in the wiener doesn't sound fun at all! Although it does only add 2 hrs and about 125 miles to my route to WI this summer and I could go back to that really awesome BBQ place in Kansas City. LOL
