2001-200x transmission interchange?

I picked up a 2001 Burb 1500 that needs a transmission. I know the 4l60e's had different electronics through the years and many years do not interchange. Some do, but it's a very narrow range.

I can find interchange information up to 2000, but nothing beyond that. I did find a wrecked 03 with a good trans, but I don't know if it will work. Both have 5.3s, so it will bolt up for sure, but will it shift?

Anyone have interchange info beyond 2000?
