No brakes lights. The blinkers and Hazards work but they are usually on a separate circuit. Not a fuse and not the bulbs. Any Ideas? It is the Woman's parents rig and they have really bad luck, their warrenty just ran up.
Try replacing the trun indicator switch on the steering column . pulled my hair out one time on the same thing , can't remember wat year it was . There might be some way of testing??
If the 3rd brake light works it will be either a blown fuse under the hood ( i think its a 20A) or the turn signal module in the column. If the 3rd light doesn't work it may be the brake light switch.
Thxs guys for the ideas. It turns out I can turn on the hazard lights and turn them off and the brake lights work again for a little while. First thing I could think of besides fuses and bulbs was the brake switch on the padel but it was a no go. I hate newer vehicles with all there fancy electrics. Thats why I drive a 78 K5. Thxs again
