2002 1500HD SAS questions...

I am looking at doing the SAS with the cage kit and a Dodge/AAM 9.25 front axle. I want to keep the Autotrac and I think it will work because the AAM axle uses the same tone rings as the IFS stuff. It has been reported that the antilock wires would plug right into the Dodge axle.

Questions or thought?

yes the dodge axel is said to have the same abs set up due to the same manufacture, aam

im literaly doing this swap right now, I however decided not to use a newer dodge axel do to the unit bearings..yuck..

I am using the cage arms, but decided to go with ballistic fabrication for the rest of my brackets. I should be done this weekend.

as for the abs.. never been a huge fan and it sure did not save my ass the one time I needed it the most , I have heard I believe someone to be making a tone ring for a older 60 though. not sure on it or if it was made.

Pull the ABS fuse and take the bulb out of the dash . That crap sucks. I pulled my fuse on my 01' and it's so much better now.
