A/C getting ready to gernade itself, can hear it.

Dont have the funds to replace it, but could I get a non A/C belt and replace the belt to bypass the A/C compressor?

Unless the compressor has a seized up clutch or bearing you should be able to unplug the wires to the pump and keep it from engauging..
You "might" be able too just use the non A/C belt,,but some vehicles have different bracketry with A/C vs without and its not possible to just put a non A/C belt on it...

Dorman does sell quite a few A/C "delete pulleys" for various vehicles, perhaps your rodeo is one of them..its simply a idler pulley that bolts in place of the compressor and you use the same belt..

The A/C is making a loud "knocking" sound, its not bearings grinding, dont know what it is, but when its making the sound you can see the pully on compressor move (wobble). It is worse during colder times like in the morning and goes away when its hotter out and vehicle is warmed up.

Have you checked to make sure all the bolts are tight, including any that might be behind the pulley, to make sure it's not the pulley hitting a loose bolt?
