2003 Tellico K5 Krawl

Hanging Dog State park is a nice place to camp.They are supposed to be building a shower house,but,thats been supposed to happen for the last 3 or 4 years so I'll be suprised if they've done it yet.They do have nice restrooms in the A loop.If money permits{8$ a day last year} thats where I'll be.If it warms up some more I may try to camp on the Tenn. side of the area cause it's cheaper and closer to the trails. Orange Crush/unless theres a tree down low you shouldn't have a prob with heigth as far as clearance,may get a little tippy in some places though.The chainsaw in back of my truck will take care of any low trees.Looking foreward to meeting all of y'all there.Wally world lot sounds good to meet Fri.and there's several good places to eat around town.All you beer drinkers,just wanted to remind you that there's no place to buy it in Murphy{Hard liquer only}.You have to go to next county on Hwy 19 or into Tenn on Hwy64 to restock. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Debatin on weather or not if the Blazer is comin. We'll see. I got reservations at Crawfords so If anybody needs anything, I'll be there. And thanks Zonkrat,I didn't get an e-mail sorry for the delay. I appreciate all the help. Comin from this far is gonna be an excapade. I called crawfords and they are 7.50 a person for primitive so that's what we went for. Oh well!
 
A couple of the MUD DEVILS from Greensboro, NC will be there. We are either getting there late wed. night or getting there by 12 noon on thurs.. We are going to be at Crawford Camp to set up and unload trucks, not mine i have to drive it /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif. Mine might not be pretty but it is pretty impressive at 75mph on the highway /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif. Any way we'll be there if anyone wants to run Slick Rock, Lower 2, School Bus, Guard Rail, or anything else that might be hard. Look forward to seeing all of you there! Look for the HOOTWAGON (it's a Bronco body on a K5 frame with all chevy drivetrain) it says it on the license plate!! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
 
Keith and I will probably get there Thursday afternoon, maybe we can hook up for a quick Friday run on some of the good stuff before we meet everybody in town. What will yall be driving, my K5 is Satin Hunter Green with black 32 bolt allied beadlocks on 40" TSL's

Keiths is a Darker green.

Since we are not going to get there until DFriday afternoon, I was wandering what time everyone was planning on meeting up that night? Also I have never been there so I would need directions just from crawfords to the trail head or just follow someone. My blazer is White with a Brown Topper and a small winch up front. My buddies K-10 is Blue and a winch. That is if we get the 30 ft trailer to bring them in on. What CB channel everyone gonna run?
 
5 pm walmart parking lot....friday night....

since everyone is telling what they got.....my K5 is black, with a black top....but if you look for it you wont find it.........it'll be in vermont...........its either gonna be the Grand Am, or the Duramax......just look for the vermont plate....I'm sure it'll be the only one

Okay, Hopefully we can get there and set up camp in time to meet yall. We are leavin here at six AM so it shouldn't be too much of a big deal.We shall see though.
 
I'll be in the orange '73 w/ a black bikni top & 1/2 doors. Not untill late fri night, though.
