South of the border model. They've had that sheetmetal for a few years I believe now. The S-series is dead for North America.

The ST Trucks have always sold very very well in South America. They had the 4door pickup S-truck version 2-3 years before us. Looks like they couldn't bring themselves to drop it down there.

Why cant they just make a real Blazer. 2 door LS1 V-8 have it come with 33's. Look at the Jeep Rubicon. The new Nissan Frontier can be had with a 32" tall tire front and rear limited slips that can lock. Why cant Chevy do this? Just be a shorter Tahoe. Tho I know it would be IFS, if they could at least use the beefier 1 ton parts, drop in the Allison tranny, and call it good.

They would probably make one , with off the shelf parts , IF enough of us would buy one . Unfortunately Jeeps are more popular with the sheep... I mean masses .

the HHR is cool... that thing ain't. :) Still waiting for a new K5... Duramax, Allison, D60 front, AAM 11.5 rear, tcase from a hummer.... :thumb:

Well it would be popular in Mexico, have you seen the crap they drive here in America. Slap a sticker of a cow on the side put some curb feelers on it and call it sold.

that thing looks like a toy..and from what i hear these new GM's are POS's electrically and other wise
i say stay fullsize and old skool

Its called yuppie "explecit delete" american, thanks to them we cant get a hardcore pickup from the factory anymore. To me...GM quit makin a good half ton pickup in 87

Because 95% of the people that buy them will never even engage 4wd.
