Decided to try and beef the Minivan transmish a little with a transgo Shift kit and sonnax solenoid switch valves. Replaced the solenoid block in the for good measure. Added a transmission temp sensor bung and used a lube locker pan gasket on a Dorman replacement pan. Added a Jeep branded autometer gauge in my dash.20220924_180512.jpg20220924_180306.jpg20220924_172832.jpg20220924_172139.jpg20220924_171916.jpg20220924_171909.jpg20220924_171905.jpg20220924_143256.jpg20220924_142652.jpg20220924_142633.jpg20220924_141538.jpg20220924_141408.jpg20220924_141318.jpg20220924_140641.jpg20220924_140123.jpg20220924_135517.jpg20220924_134711.jpg20220924_134517.jpg

Visited Wild Bill area near kalispell MT and had a little fun. Crunched the rear right panel a little dropping off a large rock into water. I ordred Genright aluminum sides and the Swag off road drop down trailgate kit. That catches this Little guy up to today. Jeep stuff on CK5. But the members here are better than the rest. received_199963919593044.jpegIMG_4970.jpg20230514_102639.jpg20220925_201945.jpg

More info on this warm hub kit please? Is it a bolt on thing? Link? Do you need to swap shafts to run it?

I don't believe Warn makes that anymore. Yukon does. here is an article about it

Yukon Gear & Axle (YA WU-07) Spin Free Locking Hub Conversion Kit for Jeep TJ/XJ/YJ Dana 30 Differential https://a.co/d/ihY9K8n

I bought the Yukon chromoly inner shafts as well when I did this kit. It makes the Jeep smoother on the highway and I can run the correct caster angle. At higher speed without the hubs kit the front driveshaft on these Jeeps will give slight vibration. 70-75mph. Not all Jeeps get it, more often the ones that are geared lower. When you unlock the front driveshaft it resolves this issue.

The kit comes with the spindles, bearings and seals, outer shafts, u-joints, locking hubs, and rotors. Basically everything needed to swap it over. It is the same warm hubs that goes rangers/explorers and bronco 2 use.

Got back into buying a house. Finally got to a point I could work on the Jeep. Will also work on the Chevy.

Switched out the Detroit and Aussie lockers for Eaton E lockers. Currie Johnny joint kit on the axle mounts. And Barnes weld in sleeves in the Dana 30. Gen right aluminum sides going on and a drop down tail gate kit as well. Fancy Yukon cover and switches mounted in the dash.

Went from 27 spline to 30 spline front chromoly axles. Big stuff. Haha
