I'm running the stock Titan upper control arms so my travel is still not everything it can be. For the time being, I had to pull the 7/8" thick lift spacer and go back to a 1/2" thick one so the stock UCAs don't contact the coil bucket and eventually pull my upper ball joints apart.

Once I get a set of the upgraded UCAs I'll be able to rework the bumpstop and spacer combination to maximize travel.

I think the toe-in was a little high so I backed it out a 1/2 turn on each side this morning. That seemed to help the tires squalling in tight corners.

Got the shop and driveway cleaned up just in time for the rain to start.

I noticed when I was retorquing my wheel spacers that my rear leaves are getting pretty twisted in front of the axle.

Did my first trail ride on Saturday. No real pictures but it was a noticeable change.

The width is going to take some time to get used to. Going from midsized to full width in one step is a bit of a step.

It makes quite a bit more of a mess too.

is that an Ozark Trail cooler in the back? how do you like it?

Found a set of SPC upper control arms on Club Frontier everyone was sitting on. Messaged the guy and got them on their way.

They showed up today!

Gonna use an angle gauge and tape measure to roughly match my current alignment with the stock Titan uppers and then get to my buddy's shop so we can dial it in properly.

Got some Ironman rear shocks for the Xterra from a buddy today.

They're almost too long and I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet. Flexed out, both the bump on the shock and my Timbren and compressed.

In a bottoming out situation, the bumps on the shocks are going to contact before the Timbrens and probably damage the shock or upper shock mounts.

I may rebuild my shorter Radflo shocks and move the axle mounts to make them work or I might add the spacer to my Timbrens and increase my lift shackle setting.

I spent last Wednesday after work swapping in my SPC UCAs. I gained about 3/4" down travel from them and now my 3 bearing CV joints are the limit.

I was able to go to the 2" lift spacer and make full use of my shocks between full droop and the tire against the fender lip.

My brother then mentioned doing an alignment. I've never looked into it before but I jumped down a rabbit hole and with a rudimentary understanding, built this tool to measure camber and caster with.

My camber is in spec, but my caster is a little high. I'm going to have to make some decisions about the setup before I make any changes.

Got the last of my real skid plates installed today.

Getting it ready for a trip next weekend to NC.

Sean and I left Thursday evening after we put my old gas tank and t-case skids on his X. We camped up on Old NC 105 that night and hiked around the falls Friday as much as our knees would allow.

He fixed some chicken teriyaki with one of the discatas we made a few years ago over the fire. That was pretty darn good eating.

My buddies in the F250 and Taco showed up Friday night and camped with us. Matt, the guy in the F250, told his brother in the Taco that he would wheel his farm truck if his brother would wheel his Taco. Underestimating where Matt would take his truck, his brother agreed. He was a little stressed in a couple spots Saturday when we ran Hurricane Creek.

None of us had been there before and there were a few u-turns and more than a little staring at maps trying to figure out where we were and where we were headed.

Saturday we camped at Round Mountain Campground, cooked some steaks and potatoes on the fire and finished off the bottle of Buffalo Trace that showed up.
