If you enjoy the Rigs of CK5 calendars but want a little variety between work and home or maybe a Suburban-only kinda guy, then I have just the thing for you. A little twist on the traditional calendar known as the Sub-Culture Edition!

Featuring 12 months of America's longest running line of full size SUV, the Sub-Culture Edition is guaranteed to have something for everyone. Anything from mild grocery-getter soccer mom rigs to wild, custom fabricated Burban'ish truggies.

I'll start another thread later for the pic submissions and the rules will be the same as the traditional calendar (pic sizes, color, quality, and required owner/tech info).

We had a go at this late last year, but couldnt get enough orders or the submissions done in time to print. So if you are interested in getting one this year, post up! If we can get over 50 orders, Can-Can will make the production run and you'll get your Rigs of CK5: Sub-Culture Edition calendar alongside this years traditional 2010 Rig of CK5!

:D:D:D:D:D

And just to start, I'm in for two!

OK so far I only have roughly 15 orders. That's not enough! I'll need at least 50 to do the production run. If you guys want em' speak up!:D

I am still way short of Sub-Culture orders to attempt a run this year. I'll go ahead and start a thread for pic submissions, but at the end of September, if there arent enough orders, the calendars wont be doen thios year and I'll carry over the pics for next year.

Just so everyone knows, Can-Can is the one making thses calendars, not me. You guys know what kind of quality he and his wife produce; it wont be any different for the Sub-Culture edition.:D

Well another gone by and another year the Sub-Culture calendar will be a no-go. I recieved alot more participation this year than I did last year and to all who have submitted pics, I will be sure to use them next year. While I was very close to the number of orders needed, I fell way short on pics. I blame the cant-leave-it-be mentality that us Burb owners have. The challenge of keeping up with our smaller brethren means that we are always "upgrading" our rigs and several folks I contacted this year had that issue. Hard to get pics when the axles are out, the engine is being overhauled and the body is being cut up to fit your favorite trail.

So to all the Burb owners: when the project is done (yeah right like that will ever happen) go wheelin and drag the significant other out to shoot some photos. I'm going to keep this running all year for 2010 so that the 2011 calendar will be the best collection of Suburbans that GM never intended to have!

Thanks to all who have submitted pics or just spread the word about this calendar and hopefully we'll be able to run the 2011 production. If you committed to buying a Sub-Culture calendar, thanks and sorry the product didnt go through:(.
