2010 Rigs of CK5: Sub-Culture Edition

I need a minimum of 50 orders to make it worthwhile. If I'm short one or two, thats probably ok, but its takes alot of work to setup the format with the pics and owner info, not to mention the printing, packaging, etc. Can-Can already has his hands full with the regular calendar, he simply extended the offer if I could get the orders and pics together.

Ok, so how many orders do you have already?

I'll bump mine up to three, minimum. If it's just a few more, I might be good for those too. I'll give them as xmas presents to those landcruiser pussies.

Yeah, if we don't hit the 50 mark, it's not a big deal, but we'd like to get as close as possible to warrant the time involved to gather pics/info and format the calendar. The setup/organizing effort is the same whether we sell 1 or 1000 calendars, and I bet Kim and I spend close to 100 hours of our own time on the Rigs calendar alone, so it would be nice to sell more than a couple dozen units to justify our commitment to the project.

In this case, I realize that the Sub-Culture calendar will be a niche product, so I never expected to have a huge demand for them. And it really helps that cabledawg is doing a lot of the groundwork for us, which allows Kim and I to focus on the Rigs calendars and not get stretched too thin.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that your support is appreciated, and in exchange, I promise to do my best to put out the best gawdamn Suburban calendar you've ever seen.......:thumb:

People, submit pics of your BURBS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I want a Burb calendar!!! quit slackin!!!!!

Well another gone by and another year the Sub-Culture calendar will be a no-go. I recieved alot more participation this year than I did last year and to all who have submitted pics, I will be sure to use them next year. While I was very close to the number of orders needed, I fell way short on pics. I blame the cant-leave-it-be mentality that us Burb owners have. The challenge of keeping up with our smaller brethren means that we are always "upgrading" our rigs and several folks I contacted this year had that issue. Hard to get pics when the axles are out, the engine is being overhauled and the body is being cut up to fit your favorite trail.

So to all the Burb owners: when the project is done (yeah right like that will ever happen) go wheelin and drag the significant other out to shoot some photos. I'm going to keep this running all year for 2010 so that the 2011 calendar will be the best collection of Suburbans that GM never intended to have!

Thanks to all who have submitted pics or just spread the word about this calendar and hopefully we'll be able to run the 2011 production. If you committed to buying a Sub-Culture calendar, thanks and sorry the product didnt go through:(.
