So finally got everything done and blazer loaded.
Had a dead battery so had to jump it.

@imiceman44 just out of curiosity, what kind of fuel mileage are you getting? I remember bobtailing an old 81 KW we had and it averaged around 11mpg on a pretty flat stretch.

I am going to guess probably get 9 pulling this.
It's a little less than my empty trailer and I get 8.5 with that.
I have not done any long trips like this yet but I know my older truck with 12 litre engine got 13 bobtail, this one has15 litres, and all the emissions crap so it doesn't get better than 10.

I see. Never understood how the epa thinks it’s OK to burn more fossil fuels and have cleaner emissions? Am I doing my math right when I say that’s about a 30% drop in MPGs?
But anyway... lol
So I have had a hell of a time finding the correct u-joint for this front driveshaft, but I have it now, but am unable to install it before I leave. Anyone willing and able to assist me in installing think tonight at the BBQ or in the morning? I'll buy you a drink at dinner on Saturday.
