In my shop. Doing stuff.
Who is doing what.

I have to put the transmission back in the frankenliner. And an AC unit on the camper. And everything for running the event.

Full tune up, front axle seals, AC install in blazer?, maybe soft top install...brake check/replacement...make sure 4wd actually works, hahaha.

A lot rides on how much my job keeps me busy.

OK....Ready?

Pull motor and trans back out so I can install rebuilt torque converter and Lokar shifter. (Shifter should be here by Friday) Motor and trans was installed to get new lengths for the driveshafts. Done
Re-install motor, transmission and transfer case. Done
Send in both driveshafts to have front lengthened and rear shortened.
Install headers. (Sanderson headers will be here next Monday)
Build exhaust.
Install gas tank
Install all front brackets and wiring.
Install Water pump, Radiator and hoses, alternator, A/C, power steering pump and hoses.
Add antifreeze and rest of fluids.
Install driveshafts.
Install Transmission lines, Fuel lines.
Install one battery (Temporary)
Install seats and seat belts.
Hook up gauges.
Add oil and transmission fluid.
Add small amount of fuel.
Fire this beast up.
If it doesn't run good, get on here and beg for help.
Get help.
If runs good, drive in town for approximately 300 miles for new motor break-in.
Change oil and filter.
Bleed hydroboost brakes.
Install complete front end, including wheel wells, fenders, grill, hood, second battery.
Install rear tailgate
Install both front and rear bumpers.
Install winch.
Connect all wiring for lights.
Install stash box.
Put hard-top on.
Haul our butts to Moab.

If all else fails, then we go to plan B...............Rent a Jeep and see you at MOAB RIM RV PARK on Wednesday evening.

Either way, we will be spending our vacation in Moab, Utah.

You have way more motivation than I do if you get all of that done.

Well I have a list, and i just realized it’s simple and fails in comparison to the above. But the closer the event gets, the more I start to worrie. Ultimately, I shouldn’t. I just finished installing the hydro assist and it seems to be working great! The important thing is to keep testing it, and not wait until I leave for the event to find out there’s an issue.
Outside of that mod, everything else has been minor tweaks. So, from here it’s just the normal check list: Such as fluid changes and tire balances, and front end alignments, install lap belts, and etc.

I should feel less worried than I do.
I need to check the rear shock mount location, the pull the axle to weld up spring perches and shock mounts.
Install front upper shock mounts and shocks.
Install wiring for the ARB
Install the most of the interior and top.
Check driveshafts
Weld up and install the front bumper and winch.
Mount the ram on the front axle and test the steering.
Install master cylinder and bleed brakes
Try to finish a tailpipe
Figure out how to load stuff and tie down
Check out any miscellaneous items....
Figure out what I forgot....
And hope that everything works out!

I need to redo one of my front wheel bearings on the blazer.
Tow rig needs a fuel pressure regulator and the radiator blown out.

That should be about it. Blazer really needs a trans rebuild, but I'll baby it through BB and deal with it when I have the shop up and running.

Yep, something to not take lightly when rolling downhill

Just have to check fluids. And figure out what the deal is with my cb one day it works next it doesn't.
