2019 Rigs of CK5 calendars are on the way!!!!

I've been going to moab since 2007. First time with BB. Was told by 2 experts that I probably shouldn't wheel the Jimmy there because of the body roll. So I was terrified. Did hells revenge the first time I ever rock crawled. I was a desert go fast guy. Watched a couple of guys go up Hells Gate. One stood the blazer up on the back wheels.

Next trip was with "jeepers". 3 rolled that day.

With the Jimmy being balanced front to back, the front end gets light real easy. It was made to go fast. Not up steep hills. So I never did Hells Gate.

At BB every year that we have ran Hells Revenge, it was a long day and I never wanted to be "that guy". I could watch and spot, walked it once. No thanks.

This year, I was leading and we were way ahead of schedule. So I fallowed Stephen down the entrance after having a heart felt moment of begging him to get to the top and run back to spot me. He's been up it so many times. His responce was, "I'm not sure how to spot your truck". Oh crap.

Watched Stephen get hung up a little bit in his crew cab. I will admit that I was nervous and the adrenaline was pumping.

I started up as Stephen was exiting the top. I thought, "that's not so bad". So I just drove up. No spotter. Just motored along. I drove past Stephen as he was walking back to spot for me. He just laughed.

The issues with going up it was all in my mind. The entrance going down is more sketchy in my book.
