why in todays ago of way better looking led light options do they still use 1970's taillights ? ? ? such a clean looking truck then BAM 1970's hits you with the lower ICC bumper lights . . .
time point 37-38-39 sec of videoHad to go back and find where they showed them. I agree they totally screwed the pooch there. Could've went to any Peterbilt dealer and found some sweet options for LED lights. Almost seems like they just kept the ones they ship them with when there's no bed on the chassis.why in todays ago of way better looking led light options do they still use 1970's taillights ? ? ? such a clean looking truck then BAM 1970's hits you with the lower ICC bumper lights . . .![]()
Yeah the bed height reminds me of the international cxt. Look those up if you haven't seen one. I am pretty sure one of the review videos I watched said they are available in all trim levels. There's no reason for those lights since the bed has them.
It looks cool but that bed is so high it's basically useless.
I wonder if they'll ever offer it with a higher trim package. Not that I can afford any of them but both ford and dodge offer their top of the line interior's on their HDs.
Yeah that second video with the western hauler bed is a good practical truck to get used. These new ones look way more proportional with the body and 4 wheel drive and everything than the older early 2000s topkicks. They always looked like they needed bigger tires. My wife's cousin had one and you couldn't go bigger or it pushed them too tall for towing a fifth wheel even with a flatbed.
A kodiak high pinion passenger drop 70f section was about the same. Very reasonableMaybe I’ve just been out of the game for a while, but for a new bare center section, that seems pretty reasonable to build a badass axle.

. Good heated full power seats have raised in priority as I've gotten older.
