203 (I think) Not goin into 4 low lock

Went out the other day to get the Blazer dirty, shake up the sodas in the cooler etc. and couldn't get it into low lock. Almost didn't get out of the hole we were down in! Goes into 4 high lock just fine. Is there an adjustment or somethin??

By the way the Blazer is a '76 if that makes any difference.

Yup, if you crawl under your /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif and look at the bottom of the T-case shifter, you will notice that the linkages are threaded. You can adjust your shifter from there. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Try oiling the shifter. When I got my truck it wouldnt go into LOC at all, but after some WD40 it worked fine until I took it out.

Mine slips out of loc position. is there something that I can adjust to better that problem?

You might be able to adjust the linkage a little bit. Do a search and I'm sure you will find out how to do it. Also make sure that the shifter isnt hitting the floor. It shouldn't be, but you never know.
