203 oil questions

So whats the deal? I have found info that states 90w for full time and 10-30 and 30 non detergent for the part time kit. I just drained mine and it looks like 90w. What do you guys know.

From what I have been told, the gear portion would like 90w but that would kill the chain portion of the case and the chain portion would like ATF but that would kill the gear portion of the case so they compromised with 10w30.

If you're just running the range box portion for a doubler, you use 90w.

stephen at ord told me to run gear oil in my 203 range box for the doubler.

Cool. I'm not going with a doubler right now. The deal fell through. Still looking for options right now before I order a new drive shaft.
